Oh goodness, where do I begin? 2020 has been off to a rocky start with postponements a plenty due to COVID-19. This was my first wedding since December and it felt so good to be back behind the lens to capture people’s happiest day of their lives!
I’ve known Bridget since college where we lived across from one another for two years. She saw me at my highest of highs and lowest of lows during those college years and I’m so thankful for her friendship! When she asked me to photograph her wedding, I screamed with excitement. Fast forward a year later, and we celebrated Bridget and Sam with a beautiful intimate backyard wedding!!
A few of my favorite moments from Saturday include:
-Bridget FaceTiming some of her bridesmaids who were unable to make it
-Sam and Bridget’s Grandmas serving as the “flower girls”, which was incredibly sweet and I 10/10 teared up editing the photos because it was so pure
-Being able to work side by side with Carla, who is my friend, sorority sister and also did video for my wedding 4 years ago!
-All of the sweet wedding details. From heirlooms, adorable lemonade cups, Gizmo the cat napkins and their entire tablescape!
-Overall, it was. a wholesome day with so much love and laughter. I’m so thankful to have been a part of their. day!
